Sub-regional conference for international cooperation

A sub regional conference has been organised in partnership with OCEAC (Organisation for Coordination in the Control of Endemic Diseases in Central Africa) in Douala on April 19. 

This conference has been an opportunity to enhance the transnational cooperation in the fight against the production of and trafficking in falsified medicines.

Besides Cameroon, six countries were invited to send representatives of Health, Justice, Police, Gendarmerie and Customs : Chad, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Central Africa Republic and Nigeria.

A total of 29 participants attended the event.

The success of the session illustrates the efforts made by invited countries authorities to fight falsified medicines.
